The Nordic Competition is open for submissions
We are proud to announce the continuation of our Nordic competition. There are many important and high-quality films on the themes war and conflict, peace and reconciliation being made in the Nordic countries. Movies on War is the clear choice for these films and it also wants to be a meeting place for filmmakers, scholars, journalists, contemporary witnesses, as well as the general audience. The competition is open for films up to 60 minutes.
Sparebank1 Østlandet continues with sponsoring a sizeable prize of 10 000 NOK (approx 1000 EUR) for the winning film of the Nordic Competition and the students from Elverum Folk High School will award Helge Væringsaasens Film Prize. The selected films will be announced in October!
